Terms of Service for Cooling Direct

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cooling.direct and your purchase of equipment and installation services from Cooling Direct ("we," "us," or "our"), serving Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. By using our website, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Equipment and Estimates
We make every effort to describe our equipment and pricing accurately. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if site conditions, scope, equipment availability, or code requirements differ. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order and to correct pricing or product errors.
Installation
Installation is performed by licensed Florida contractors in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Equipment warranties are administered by the manufacturer; you are responsible for registering your warranty.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are stated at the time of order and do not include taxes or other charges unless stated. You agree to provide accurate, current payment information.
Returns and Restocking
All unit sales are final. AC equipment and systems are sold as final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. If a return is authorized in writing by Cooling Direct prior to delivery, a 25% restocking fee will apply to the unit price, and the customer is responsible for all return freight costs. Equipment must be returned in original, unopened, undamaged packaging to qualify.
Parts and accessories may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original, undamaged packaging, and require a Return Merchandise Authorization. A 25% restocking fee applies and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
Cancellations
Orders cancelled at the customer’s request are refunded less the payment processing fee charged on the order. That fee is set by the payment method chosen at checkout and is not returned to us when a refund is issued. It is currently about 3% for credit and debit card payments and can be as high as 10% for Shop Pay Installments, Affirm, and other pay-over-time financing. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Furnace Direct (a brand of Hamlin Mechanical LLC) related to your inquiry, quotes, scheduling, and service. This is a conversational customer-care messaging program — customers typically initiate contact by texting us, and we reply.
